An online reservation system has been introduced by Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC), a public corporation promoting and regulating the tourism industry, to provide a one-stop resource for booking travel to and accommodation on the island.

PRTC said the system, which can be accessed through http://www.GoToPuertoRico.com, offers in-depth information for lodging and flight options for the island. It claimed visitors will gain real-time confirmations, knowledge, information and service not generally offered on the websites of third party sellers, helping to attract more visitors to the island.

According to PRTC, the system provides real-time rates and availability for properties, a hotel overview, with rate descriptions and images and CRS confirmation numbers. It allows users to make reservations

for Puerto Rico's 24 Paradores inns, which are only available through the booking engine and provides a simple, user-friendly format.
